Innovation Campus Grand Opening 

Celebrate with us on Feb. 28th, 2025 as we expand our presence in the greater Washington, D.C., area with the opening of the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus in Alexandria!

When?

On Friday morning, Feb. 28th, 2025, join us for the official Innovation Campus Opening Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting!

  • Doors Open: 9:30 AM
  • Ceremony Begins: 10:00 AM
  • Building Open House: 11:45 AM – 2:30 PM (Light lunch and refreshments will be served)

This event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Regina Dugan, president and CEO of Wellcome Leap and two-time Virginia Tech alumna, alongside government officials, university leaders, and other notable guests.

We look forward to celebrating this historic occasion with you!

Can't make it in person?

Due to the anticipated high volume of attendees, seating within the tent will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure a seat, we strongly encourage guests to arrive early. Overflow seating will be available inside the building, where the ceremony will be live-streamed prior to the luncheon and open house.
